We take a break from reporting on our Parish Centre project - which by the way is on schedule and going great - to tell you about two great happenings this past week.
VBS/Day Camp Experience at Camp Brebeuf Thank you to all those involved in our exciting “VBS/Day Camp” at Camp Brebeuf this past week. Some 27 young people from our parish participated and had a wonderful time. Each day was filled with smiles and surely made summer memories. A special word of thanks to those young adults at Camp Brebeuf and teens from the parish who helped: It was a success because of you. Even Father Freitas got to fulfill a dream !
Annual Spiritual Pilgrimage 
Thirty parishioners took part in our annual Summer Spiritual Pilgrimage. This year we visited the Quebec Shrines of St Anne de Beaupre, Our Lady of the Cape and Sacred Heart. What a wonderful experience! Our time on pilgrimage was a true time of blessing for all. The group we travelled with was outstanding; the accommodations and service were wonderful, but what was a true blessing were the shrines we visited and the graces we were given. Wow! Please be assured of my prayers for your families and for our parish family during our pilgrimage. You, especially our shuts-ins and sick, were in our prayers and devotions daily.
